Why it matters

One missed step restarts the whole visa

A UAE visa isn't one application. It's a chain: work permit, entry permit, medical, Emirates ID, residence visa, each with its own authority and deadline. Miss a medical slot or let an entry permit lapse and you start again, with fines on top. ComplyUAE tracks every step and every expiry for every employee.

Visa services

Hire, sponsor and cancel, handled for you

Three visa services cover the life of every visa on your company file. Mainland and free zone.

Employment visa

For new hires coming from abroad, employees already in the UAE changing status, and renewals for existing staff.

Finish within the 60-day entry permit

Your account manager runs the full chain: work permit or free zone approval, entry permit, status change if the employee is already in the country, medical fitness test, Emirates ID biometrics and residence visa. Every step shows in your dashboard so you know exactly when your new hire can start.

What we handle

  • Quota check and work permit with MOHRE or your free zone
  • Entry permit and in-country status change
  • Medical test and Emirates ID appointments
  • Labour contract and residence visa issuance
  • Health insurance confirmation
  • Renewals before visas and Emirates IDs expire

Documents you upload

  • Employee passport copy and photo
  • Signed offer letter
  • Attested degree certificate, where the role requires it
  • Current visa or entry stamp, if inside the UAE
  • Company trade license and establishment card

Investor and partner visa

For shareholders and partners of mainland and free zone companies who want UAE residency through their own business.

Sponsored by your own company

Investor visas follow their own rules: the shareholder must be on the license, and some authorities look at share value or company status before approving. Your account manager checks eligibility, prepares the file and takes it through entry permit, medical, Emirates ID and residence. We can also tell you whether you may qualify for a long-term Golden Visa.

What we handle

  • Eligibility check against your license and shareholding
  • Investor or partner entry permit
  • Status change if you're already in the UAE
  • Medical, Emirates ID and residence visa
  • Family sponsorship once your visa is issued
  • Golden Visa eligibility guidance

Documents you upload

  • Passport copy and photo
  • Trade license showing you as shareholder or partner
  • MOA or share certificate
  • Establishment or immigration card
  • Current visa, if inside the UAE

Visa cancellation

For employees leaving the company or the country, shareholders exiting, and visas that need to move to a new sponsor.

Cancel the permit and the visa, not just one

A proper cancellation closes both the work permit and the residence visa. Leaving one open keeps your company liable and can leave the employee overstaying without knowing it. Your account manager handles both, whether the person is inside the UAE or has already left, and confirms when the file is fully closed.

What we handle

  • Work permit cancellation with MOHRE or the free zone
  • Residence visa and Emirates ID cancellation
  • Inside-country and outside-country cancellations
  • Final settlement form for the employee to sign
  • Grace period date shared with you and the employee
  • Confirmation once the file is closed

Documents you upload

  • Employee passport and visa copy
  • Emirates ID
  • Signed cancellation and settlement form
  • Resignation or termination letter
  • Exit stamp, if the employee has already left

FAQs

Visa questions, answered

Can't find what you need? Your account manager replies within 24 hours.

What are PRO services in the UAE?

PRO services cover the government paperwork a UAE company needs: visas, Emirates IDs, labour contracts, establishment cards, attestation and approvals. With ComplyUAE, your account manager handles these through the portal, so you don't need an in-house PRO.

How long does a UAE employment visa take?

Usually two to four weeks from the work permit application to the issued residence visa, depending on the authority, medical results and how quickly documents are provided.

What is the 60-day entry permit?

Once the entry permit is issued, the employee has 60 days to enter the UAE and complete the medical test, Emirates ID biometrics and residence visa. If it lapses, the process may need to restart, so your account manager books each step as soon as the permit is issued.

Who can get an investor or partner visa?

Shareholders and partners listed on a UAE mainland or free zone trade license can usually be sponsored by their own company. Some authorities apply conditions such as share value, so your account manager checks eligibility before filing.

Can I sponsor my family on an investor visa?

Yes. Once your residence visa is issued, you can sponsor your spouse and children, and in some cases parents, subject to income and housing requirements.

What happens after a visa is cancelled?

The employee gets a grace period to leave the UAE, move to a new sponsor or change status. Its length depends on the visa category. After it ends, daily overstay fines apply, so we share the exact date with you once the cancellation is done.

Do I need to cancel both the work permit and the visa?

Yes. For mainland companies, the MOHRE work permit and the residence visa are separate and both must be cancelled. Free zone companies cancel through their zone authority. Leaving either one open can keep your company liable.

Can a visa be cancelled if the employee has already left the UAE?

Yes. Outside-country cancellations are possible with the right documents, usually including a copy of the exit stamp. Your account manager handles it without the employee needing to return.

General information about UAE visa and PRO processes. Fees, timelines, grace periods and requirements differ by emirate, free zone and visa category and change from time to time; your account manager will confirm what applies to you.
